CASE STUDY: 6th World Congress on Pediatric Critical Care – March 2011
ePresenter was used to increase interaction between attendees and facilitate a unique way of presenting scientific research. Using ePresenter terminals, oral presentation booths called “electronic poster bays” were scattered throughout the exhibition hall. Authors were allocated specific times during conference breaks to briefly present electronic versions of their posters to surrounding delegates and exhibition visitors. This also gave poster authors the advantage of having a speaking position within the conference, which assisted many of them with funding opportunities from their organisations.
